Bakkt failed to market on the first day of trading supposedly because of the fact that the price of the currency had been range-bound, so traders were in no hurry to initiate positions. The day after launch, the Bitcoin cost took its biggest intraday hit since January, dropping some 13% on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Block transactions are privately arranged futures or options trades that may be implemented separately from the market. In accordance with CME Group, block transactions are usually executed by firms and institutions with specific purposes in mind. "Last week, we purchased the first Bakkt Bitcoin Daily Futures contract also required the first physical delivery of a digital asset below present commodity futures laws and regulations.
