Ron Paul:’I’m All I Like Currencies , for Cryptocurrencies’
Former Republican congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul says he's in favour of cryptocurrencies along with blockchain technology because he enjoys competing monies. Ron Paul delivered his comments in a"Squawk Alley" meeting on CNBC about July 15.
Ron Paul drew on comparisons to the standard asset gold. One manner in which Paul seems to believe gold is very comparable to crypto is that both are resources. Paul said,"governments aren't very tolerant of competition, and they are not even tolerant with all the Constitution to contend with all the fiat dollar. Because silver and gold, you can't use it""I simply don't believe the dollar is going to last. I do not believe any fiat currency lasts eternally. They all self-destruct. The entire world is engulfed with fiat currency. That is one of the reasons that the dollar holds up: What are you currently competing , the euro and the yen? The competition out there is not any good" Based on Paul, cryptocurrencies are a Excellent idea, and governments should only step in to regulate the space to prevent fraud:
